Services

Represented, not advised.

There's a difference between someone telling you how to get the job and someone working to get it for you. We do the second one — through positioning, through introductions, and through the negotiation itself.

01 — Strategy

Career Strategy & Positioning

Before anything else, we get honest about the market. Where do you actually sit right now, which jobs are genuinely reachable in this cycle, and what has to change for the ones that aren't?

  • Candid assessment of your current market value and level
  • Target list of programs, conferences, and realistic timelines
  • The story you lead with — recruiter, developer, tactician, culture-builder
  • Gap plan: what to add to your profile before the next opening

02 — Materials

Résumé & Coaching Portfolio

Search committees skim. A résumé tells them where you've been; a portfolio shows them what you'd do with their program. We build the whole package so you're the candidate with a plan instead of a history.

  • Coaching résumé rebuilt for how committees and search firms actually read
  • Program vision document — first 90 days, year one, year three
  • Recruiting philosophy, territories, and pipeline evidence
  • Player development record and staff-building approach
  • Digital presentation you can send the moment a job opens

03 — Preparation

Interview Preparation

Most coaches lose interviews on the questions that have nothing to do with basketball. We run you through the real ones until the answers are yours.

  • Mock interviews modeled on that specific institution's committee
  • Budget, roster management, NIL, and transfer portal readiness
  • Compliance, academics, fundraising, and donor-facing questions
  • The questions you should be asking them
  • Debrief and follow-up strategy after every round

04 — Access

Network Introductions

This is the part you can't do for yourself. A coach advocating for himself reads as campaigning. A representative advocating for you reads as a recommendation — and it lands before the job is ever posted.

  • Direct outreach to athletic directors and senior administrators
  • Relationships with the search firms running college basketball hires
  • Head coaches and staffs across every level of the sport
  • Media and grassroots relationships built over three decades
  • Every introduction made only with your prior approval

05 — The Deal

Contract Negotiation

When the offer comes, we negotiate it on your behalf. You stay the coach they're excited to hire; we handle the conversation that decides what the next four years of your life are worth.

  • Base compensation benchmarked against comparable roles and conferences
  • Term length, rollover provisions, and extension triggers
  • Performance incentives — wins, postseason, APR, retention
  • Buyout terms in both directions, and what happens on a staff change
  • Assistant salary pool, operating budget, and program resources
  • Relocation, media obligations, camps, and outside income

Engagement

Aligned with your outcome.

Full representation is 10% of the contract we negotiate on your behalf. We're paid when you're placed, which means we have exactly one incentive: get you the best job on the best terms available to you.

Individual services are available on a standalone basis. We'll define scope and fee together on the first call, in writing, before any work begins.

What's Included
  • Ongoing career strategy for the length of the engagement
  • Complete portfolio build and revisions
  • Interview preparation for every opportunity
  • Active advocacy and introductions across our network
  • Full negotiation representation through signature
  • Direct access to us — not an account queue

Engagements are limited by design. We take on the number of coaches we can genuinely advocate for at once.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is this confidential if I'm currently employed?

Yes — and that's the norm, not the exception. Most of the coaches we represent are under contract somewhere. Nothing goes out with your name on it, to anyone, without your explicit approval first.

Do I have to be actively looking for a job?

No. Some of the best work happens twelve to eighteen months before you move — building the profile, filling the gaps, and getting your name in front of the right people well before a search begins.

What levels do you work with?

Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA — men's and women's basketball. The Division II, III, and NAIA levels are the most underserved in the industry, and a real focus for us.

I was just let go. Can you help?

Yes, and quickly. Coaches in transition are one of the groups we built this for. The priority is a fast, discreet plan to get you back on a sideline — and to manage how your exit is understood in the market.

How is the fee structured?

Full representation is 10% of the contract we negotiate for you. Individual services are scoped and quoted separately. Everything is agreed in writing before we start.

Can you guarantee I'll get a job?

No, and anyone who does is selling you something. What we can do is make sure you're positioned properly, your name is in front of the people who decide, and you never sit across from an athletic director without an advocate.
